This is a Furnished Mother In Law Suite basement apartment in my home in Iowa City. I am a travel nurse hoping to rent to other travel nurses while we are both off on assignment, but I'm open to anyone looking for a short-term rental. I believe the photos speak for themselves; this is one of the best furnished short-term rentals in Iowa City. On-street parking is free, or an off-street parking spot is available for an additional monthly fee. The private walkway leads to the back of the home to your private entrance, absolutely no contact has to be made with the unit upstairs. The laundry is just outside your basement door and is shared with the upstairs unit. All utilities, including wifi, are included in the rent. All the significant furniture will remain in the team, and the projector screen will be replaced with a 65" LG Smart TV with access to streaming services. You will have access to a small storage closet outside the unit, and a small clothing closet in the bedroom but not shown in the photos. The home backs up to a well-maintained city park with access to a bike trail through the backyard gate. There are two grocery stores within a 5-minute drive, and the home is less than 10 minutes from Mercy Iowa City Hospital and 12 minutes from University of Iowa Hospital. Minimum three month lease with option to transition to month to month after the initial three months. One-half month's rent is required for a security deposit. One cat will be considered on a case-by-case basis with a $250 refundable pet deposit and a $25 monthly pet rent. No dogs.
