It is a bird watchers paradise! The many colorful species will serenade you every morning while you have your coffee taking in the show at the bird feeders and the bird bath. This is "OLD FLORIDA" relaxation! Our half acre property was built in the 1940's. It was originally a Fish Camp connected to a 5 acre estate steps from the shores of Lake Dora. It is a historic property that has survived it all. It was originally 3 separate cottages. You will be staying in one of the original cottages that has been renovated with all the modern conveniences. The other two cottages were joined to create the main pool home. We are in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods of Mount Dora. The cottage is on lush green space making it very serene and quiet. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the Florida weather and even a fire pit for those crisp nights. The shores of beautiful Lake Dora are steps away so that you can enjoy bike rides or scenic walks or runs along the lake. It is very secure and a very safe neighborhood.
