If you're looking to live in one of the most unique lofts you can find, this is it. Lofts at The Sanctuary is a gut renovation of a beautiful historic building located only minutes away from the heart of Central West End. We've converted the well known neighborhood church and school built in the late 1800's into gorgeous modern-style lofts in an effort to both preserve iconic pieces of the neighborhood and still bring a new, unique living experience. There's only 12 units in the whole building: 2 in lower level, 5 on 1st floor, 5 on 2nd floor, a much more relaxed apartment experience that is hard to find in the CWE where compact 50+ unit buildings are most common. Sanctuary Lofts offers a unique apartment for the unique crowd that want to spice up their home - you'll get CWE city living, gorgeous modern lofts with all of the bells and whistles of new construction, all under a beautiful piece of history that's been in this neighborhood since the 1800s. You can't beat that! The units are newly built in 2018 - all electric apartments, kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances (fridge, range, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal), washer/dryer inside all units, central heating/cooling. Energy efficient windows in most units, some have historically protected stained glass windows that offer an extra touch. Every unit is completely different from the rest, so you truly do have a unique piece of history - some units even feature stunning vaulted ceilings from the original architecture of the building with beautiful gated loft spaces above each bedroom overlooking the entire apartment. Others have an original chalkboard or lockers in the units (these units were originally classrooms and these items are federally protected!)- they've been converted to matte black for a cool backdrop detail to the unit. Off-street parking with secured building access (proximity key fob entry). Pet friendly (up to 85 lbs with a pet fee and pet rent) with currently an extra large fenced dog park area.
