In search of a male tenant to sublease a room in a 4bd house starting October 1 in Virginia Highlands. House has three other male roommates, all very friendly and keep to themselves, but they enjoy the occasional beer on the front porch, watching sports and grilling on the back deck. Room is on the main floor next to the kitchen. It’s not swanky, but you can’t beat the location or the rent. I’m leaving my window AC unit so you’ll have full control of your room temp. My room also has a private entrance from the back patio. Half bath is on the main floor that I use for pretty much everything, and shower is upstairs in a more spacious bathroom. Laundry in unit and a dishwasher (woo!). Free private parking in the back, never had an issue. Neighbors share the unit next to us and are super friendly. Neighborhood in general is very quiet and peaceful, almost picturesque. People with dogs and families walk past frequently and it’s great to sit on the front porch and relax. Rental company is very easy to work with and accommodating to all maintenance requests. Rent only went up I think $50 this year so no worries there. I’m also planning to clean the carpets on the main floor before I leave.
