1B in 5B Coolidge Corner home (available 9/1) This house has been passed down through generations of family and friends, and it has always been a wonderful home! We have two floors of an old Brookline house with hardwood floors, tons of natural light, and quiet neighbors. We are about 3 minutes from the Coolidge Corner T stop, and everything you need is within a short distance! We are looking for a female/fem roommate. No smoking, no pets, and no couples. Our parking spot is currently being used and paid for by A. The Room: Your room will be a bright, unfurnished 15x15ft space with 3 windows and a large closet with sliding mirror doors and built-in drawers. The room is $1,100/month, and there is a $746 deposit. The House: On one floor, you'll find 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, the main living room, and a very large kitchen with two fridges, a dishwasher, and an in-unit washer and dryer. On another floor, there are 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and a smaller living space. Because the house is big and there are a lot of us, we do have some rules in place as well as a cleaning schedule. Nothing out of the norm, but if that’s something you’re not comfortable with, this might not be the best fit. Overall, the house has a very cozy and tidy feel to it and we would like to keep it that way. Utilities (gas, electric, internet) vary each month – we usually pay between $30-$100 per person, depending on the season. The Roommates: We’re 4 friendly women in our mid-20s to early 30’s. We’re all working professionals: A works in healthcare, F works in the arts, M works in government, and J works in science. We have a variety of shared interests: cooking, painting & drawing, and house Nintendo game nights. We have varying schedules but are usually all home in the evenings! Timing with cooking and using the kitchen has never been an issue. When we bump into each other, we’re open to catching up and hanging out – we’re pretty flexible and respectful of each others’ moods and spaces :) Here’s a little bit more about us: A: Big outdoors fan; loves daily walks/yoga. Enjoys crocheting, reading, taking a hammock to the park, and board/card games. J: Frequent concert goer, big fan of crocheting, The Twilight Saga, film photography, and board games. F: Art lover, loves tea and cakes, travels semi regularly.
