Hi there! My roommate and I have a room available in our JP apartment for the lease cycle 8/1/23 - 7/31/24. Rent will be $1,083 per month plus utilities (usually about $100/month per person). First month's rent + a security deposit is required at signing, which is the same value as a month's rent. We are located very close to the Brewery Complex and are walking distance from both Stony Brook and Green St Orange Line stops as well as the bus routes on Washington St and Egleston Square. The unit is on the 1st floor (5 steps up from the street) and has a dishwasher, central AC and heating, a small rear porch, and coin-op laundry plus storage space in the basement. The unit also comes with 1 parking space, which is not being used at the moment. 3 cats live in the apartment (see last photo) and would love a new roommate! Unfortunately we cannot accommodate more pets at this time. About us: we are both mid-20s women who work full-time. I commute to my office every day and my roommate works a hybrid schedule of remote and on-site days. We are both non-smokers (🍃 is okay but outside, please!). We spend a lot of time watching TV, gardening and caring for our house plants, and playing with the cats. I run a small yarn dyeing business out of the kitchen, which just means sometimes I need the stove for an evening. The cats are all very friendly and love people, so they'll love you too!
