Large house on the corner or N Dorgenois St/ Governor Nichols in Mid-City (6 blocks from Jazz Fest. I (Billy) am the owner of the house and a musician in my early 40s. My roommate Gabriel is also a musician in the same age range. We are good-vibe people and believe that communication, respect, and accountability make for a fucntional, drama-free household. Here's some info, feel free to ask questions: The Space: - Large (approx 24ft x 11 ft) newly renovated upstairs bedroom + private balcony (pics are good but I have included a diagram with dimensions. - Shared bathroom with a very clean person - Main house is large and has lots of space - Old house but very functional and comfortable (insulated with AC, heat, etc) - Washer and Dryer in house - Fully equipped kitchen with nice stove and fridge - There is a small guest house in back that I rent out regularly, but it has little impact on the main house (separate entrance, etc) - We are both clean and organized, but the vibe of the house is laid back - We have 1 cat, Mylo who is an indoor/outdoor cat and very friendly - Huge yard with lots of plants, and lots of potential for gardening. - We have city recycling, glass recycling, and a compost system - We are a tolerant, supportive environment. LGBTQ+ friendly, BLM, please no Trumpers - Low key, quiet household - us being musicians doesn't have much impact. - We like to keep the common areas tidy and clean - Flower friendly but not in anyone's face about Details: - $850 a month utilities included (Electric, gas, water, 5G internet) - First month rent + last month due upon move in. - 6 month or 1 year lease available with 1 month trial period for both sides. - No Dogs - we have tried a few times and have not had great luck.
